33 weeks

Along: 33w0d
Size of baby: Sweet Pea is the size of a durian fruit, which, from what I researched, is a really rare, spiny, STINKY fruit. Yuck! On a better note, she is around 18-19 inches long and around 4.5 lbs!

Total Weight Gain/Loss: Around 20 lbs, unless all those cupcakes from 2 weeks ago have caught up with me more than I thought! :)
Maternity Clothes: Oh yes. I'm especially thankful for my maternity swimsuit, on loan from Em, because it came in very handy this week at my pool day!
Gender: It's a girl! Cara Beth Connell
Movement: Strong and frequent. My current favorite movement is when I go to bed and lay on my side, she goes topsy turvy in my belly and starts kicking and jabbing underneath my, on my side. It's like she saying, "Hey, what's going on, wait a second!" :)
What I miss: sleeping on my back and stomach (my shoulders hurt after sleeping on my sides all night), doing anything quickly, having energy, being able to space out and relax--my brain is always thinking or planning something baby-related or life-related. I've forgotten about school for a while--oops!
Cravings: milk, chocolate milk, toasted marshmallow milkshakes (recipe here)--so good!, Raisin Bran, fruit, waffles, ice water
Symptoms: My Braxton Hicks are a little more under control, and it's been a better week than last week was. This week, I've felt really tired. It's possible that since I'm finally not so busy for the summer, my mind and body have gone into hibernation mode like I usually do. I have a little insomnia at night, but I also am getting to rest during the day for now.
Best moment of the week: Continuing to settle in the nursery--just a few more decorative pieces to come together and a drawer to organize. It's been great to have no major responsibilities this week, even if I find it hard to "let go" and just be for a bit. Getting to see Summers and her baby Colton in Austin this week--I hadn't met him yet, and I loved seeing his squirmy, squeaky self!

Looking forward to: Visiting Emily and Abigail in San Antonio next week, going to Dallas for a friend's wedding shower, starting to think about school lessons (not really looking forward to that, but it needs to be done...).
