After some looking and calculating, I think I've been off about my fruit comparisons. I'm 19w0d today, and 19 weeks is a mango; 20 weeks is a cantaloupe. I've been rationalizing that when I'm 19w1d, I'm IN my 20th week, but then I worried that I'd get to 39 weeks and be out of fruit. It's a silly thing to worry about, but I really like taking fruit pictures each week and want them to be accurate. I think I'm going to forgo this week's picture and catch up next week.
I have a cantaloupe ready, and I saw a watermelon at HEB today and might have had a minor freak-out, thinking that was going to be on the agenda in about 4 months...
This week has been fun, telling more people about our girl, buying bedding, looking at baby furniture, buying a few more pink things, getting a prenatal massage (more in a minute), and only working 3 days. We got Thursday and Friday off for a snow day and Easter, and it has already been a really nice break!
I have felt really good this week, just a little tired. I took naps after work before dinner Monday and Tuesday nights. Still waiting on official movement from Sweet Pea, but everything else has been great! I went to the spa to get a massage and use a gift card, and they let me lay on my side and hug a body pillow through the whole thing. MAN, that was nice! I left the spa and drove directly to Target and bought one. I may invest in a bigger, nicer one in a few months when sleep becomes way more difficult, but this one was $10 and too good to pass up. Can't wait to go to bed tonight!
I'll have more pictures and updates next week (Easter festivities, dinner with friends, etc.). We're planning to go to Irving to start registering at the big Babies R Us and other stores there next weekend. I'm ready to get this show on the road!
I definitely enjoyed the fruit comparisons more when she was on the smaller end of the scale. Don't worry...you won't run out of fruit.
ReplyDeleteLoved feeling her move! It never gets old and helped me worry less. Also loved my body pillow!
Registering took forever! Be prepared to be there a long time or break it into parts.
Before registering, one book that helped us a lot with baby reviews and price ranges was Baby Bargains (I think!). It was AWESOME and I felt gave really unbiased opinions about EVERYTHING, compared costs, and had safety regulations. Have fun!
