When I went to the doctor, as I said, she found the baby measuring about 8 days earlier than I thought. I knew my LMP and all my important dates that put me at 7 weeks at that time. She said I was more like 5w6d then.
In order to save confusion for myself and everyone invested in this, it's better that I go with the doctor's measurements of time. I think they're off, and I'll probably expect to be early all the way until I deliver, but it will just be easier to do it this way.
That means I haven't gotten to do a weekly update yet, as I've lived my 7th week twice already. I'll be 8 weeks officially on Saturday, when Chance and I and some of the family walk in a 5K to raise money for the Miracle Match bone marrow drive. Since Cindy had such great results with her bone marrow drive/match, we're continuing to give back this way. I've never run/walked a race like this before, but I bet it will be good for us.
I haven't been feeling quite as tired lately, but I have been feeling HUNGRY! If I don't eat every 2 hours, I get pretty miserable. It doesn't start until about 11 a.m., and in the mornings I'm not very hungry at all, but it continues all afternoon and early evening until dinner. Makes it pretty tough to keep eating on my school schedule. I told my students last week because I was starting to do things that made it obvious--eating snacks randomly, going to the bathroom more, being a little more emotional, etc. They were really sweet and excited, and now news is spreading to other kids who used to be mine in years past. It's fun.
Look for an 8-week update with fruit and symptoms later this week, and we'll finally be back on track.
