Happy Halloween!

Last year for Halloween, Cara was a Sweet Pea, but she was only 2 months old and didn't really do much. This year, I was excited to see her walk around in her costume and have fun at our church carnival. NEXT year I'm even more excited to actually go trick-or-treating and have her understand and participate more.

She went as Tinkerbell this year, and I think she was just darling. She did NOT like the little wings that velcroed onto the back of her dress--they kept hitting her on the ears, and she would reach behind her with both hands to pull them until they came off. I ended up carrying the wings for much of the night. :)

We met at Cari & Ricky's to take some family pictures while it was still light outside. When they went trick-or-treating in their neighborhood, we drove to church to go to the carnival. It was really full and packed with people. Cara was a little overwhelmed with all that was going on (and with it being near bedtime), but she still had fun. She RAN around the gym without a care of who or what was in her way. She played in the toddler room and made a basket in the goal!

We didn't stay for very long, but she did have a really good time. Halloween is so much more fun when you have kids and don't have to worry about dressing up yourself. I know that the future years are going to be even more exciting for Cara!
