CBC as baby JC

Cara played the role of baby Jesus in our church's Christmas musical last weekend. I had worried about if she would do a good job, cry, be scared, etc., but she did SO GOOD!

We waited in the choir room for the end of the performance, and I fed her and hung out with the youth choir who act in the living nativity (including a couple of my students from school!). When it was her time, I handed her off to "Mary & Joseph", and they walked down the center aisle to "Little Drummer Boy" and stood on stage for about 4 minutes. Cara looked around the whole time, but was so serene and quiet.

Chance got it all on film, and it's such a sweet memory for us to have! (Blogger won't upload my video--what's up?)

Earlier that morning, we went to Cari & Ricky's church to see Murphee dedicated. It was a busy morning, but it was very sweet to watch their family dedicate Murphee to the Lord. We'll be doing that for Cara sometime soon.
