Meredith got married!

Meredith and Scott got married on October 6, and I was the matron of honor. It was our first trip to Dallas since Cara was born, so it was quite an undertaking. We packed SO MUCH stuff to go up there, and planned everything to the nth degree. I'm so glad I had Chance, Mom and Dad to lend helping hands the whole weekend so that I could participate fully in all the wedding activities. We were there from Thursday night to Monday afternoon, and we had the best time!

We had the rehearsal and dinner at Maggiano's on Friday night. Jenn and I gave a tandem MOH speech, and I think we did a great job! Saturday we got to hang out at home for a while before I had to go to the church. They got Cara ready in her prettiest dress and brought her to the ceremony. Chance fed her a bottle right before the ceremony and she slept through the whole thing! I think I heard one peep out of her. I was so proud. The reception was a the City Club, and it was so lovely. We sat with Em, Matt and Abigail, Em's mom, Rachel and her husband and our brood. We saw friends from college, introduced Cara to everyone, and then Mom and Dad took her home early while we stayed to party for a little while!

Sunday was a lazy day--I barely left Mom's recliner. Cara must've been worn out from the activities of the weekend, because she slept all day! We packed up and had brunch at Breadwinner's on Monday and headed home. It was such a jam-packed weekend, but it was filled with so many memories. Meredith and Scott are the perfect couple, and I've never seen her happier in my life. It made my heart happy to see one of my best friends, my nearest and dearest, be so giddy to marry her love.

I'll let the pictures do the talking for the rest of the post--some iPhone pics, some with the good camera. Enjoy!
