24 weeks--6 months and growing grapefruit

Along: 24w0d, 6 months exactly! Technically 4 to go...
Size of baby: Sweet Pea is the size of a grapefruit. We're in the phase where fruits/veggies are starting to look REALLY big, and I have to keep reminding myself that she's getting bigger each week!
Total Weight Gain/Loss: Judging by my belly, I'm going to up my guess to 8-9 pounds. I don't feel like I've put on weight much elsewhere, but probably some. But my tummy is getting quite round!
Maternity Clothes: I'm out of many regular clothes, especially shirts--they're too short. Still loving a loose, comfy dress.
Gender: It's a girl! Cara Beth Connell
Movement: Since this time last week, I've been feeling her so much! Multiple times a day, but especially right before bed and right as I wake up. Those are sweet times. Chance got to feel her one day this week, which was really cool for him. I couldn't tell if I could feel it from the inside, or if it was strong enough. After some poking and prodding, he felt her! Feeling her move has been my absolute favorite thing so far. I feel like we're communicating and forming this special bond.
Sleep: Finally regulating itself again. We had some houseguests for almost a week, and I ended up staying up later and getting up earlier than I normally do. It was fun, but I'm more anxious than ever for summer, sleeping in and naps whenever I feel like it! 13.5 days...
What I miss: being active easily. I get a little winded when I walk up the 2 flights of stairs at school carrying my big school bag and stuff. It's a weird sensation to get my pulse racing after normal activities.
Cravings: NANA MADE CHOCOLATE CAKE FOR ME!! After last week's craving, she had a cake ready to give to Mom to send to me the day after I talked about it. They take good care of me, and the cake was (is) so good!! I've been sharing it with friends and sneaking slices when I can.
Symptoms: feeling pregnant... By the end of the day at school, I'm uncomfortable and tired. Since I talk all day, I usually exercise my stomach muscles, and now that they're stretched more, my belly feels tight and tired. I'm also more tired on my feet and ready for a nap and comfy clothes at the end of the day.
Best moment of the week: M&D came to Waco last Saturday with the dresser for the nursery. The crib is ordered and being delivered, but the dresser is in the room and looks so beautiful! I can't wait for the rest to start filling out!
Looking forward to: 13.5 days of school, including a 1/2 day for a doctor's visit Tuesday and chaperoning a field trip to the Ft. Worth Zoo next week! We're reading a book in my classes, which is a nice change of pace. We're going to make it!
