10 weeks--lovely lime
Along: 10w1d
Size of baby: Sweet Pea is the size of a lime. Seems like we were just marking blueberry and raspberry. I know we'll get to banana and cantaloupe and pumpkin eventually, but a lime baby seems huge! (PS, apparently my hair is always up when I do the weekly fruit shots. I'll try to vary it up from time to time now. But I haven't gotten my hair cut or colored since December, and I'm having to wait until March, so it's killing me!)
Total Weight Gain/Loss: Just about 2 lbs. when I went to the dr. Monday. I thought it would be more with eating all the time, but I guess not yet.
Maternity Clothes: Still liking my maternity jeans for comfort, but everything else I still have (loose shirts, unwashed [read: stretched-out] pants) is working for me.
Gender: People have been telling us they think it's a girl, which makes me think it will be a boy. Is this what happens for 10 more weeks, I agonize about the wait for gender confirmation?
Movement: Nope, just stretching pains in my abdomen and a faster full feeling.
Sleep: I did not sleep well this week. We kept going to bed late and getting up early. Chance road tripped to College Station for the BU/A&M basketball game and got home at 1 a.m. Wednesday. And I waited up...
What I miss: Sonic Diet Vanilla Coke :-/
Cravings: Ice water, ice cold milk and CHEESE! Chance started a Daniel Diet for the month of February, so we stocked up on tons of fresh fruits and veggies. Those make good snacks, but nothing has compared this week to my afternoon mini Babybel cheese wheel or string cheese stick. I drew the line at frozen meal mac 'n cheese, though. Too much of a good thing.
Symptoms: Thirst, abdomen pains, and having to go to the bathroom during the school day more often than I used to.
Best moment of the week: It wasn't a great week at school. Even though I was off Monday, it was a crazy/busy/stressful week. There were lots of fights at school, not a lot of action to fix it, and a lot of hyper kids in my room. I've been waiting for the weekend for a while. Going to Austin with some girlfriends to visit another friend who moved there recently, Super Bowl party, and some rest when I can get it. Still looking forward to Feb. 17, hearing the heartbeat and telling the world (and making the blog public!)!
