I tell you what, opening presents takes a lot longer and is a lot more fun with 3 kids in the mix--2 of whom are still learning how to open them. We started with a rotation from youngest to oldest, but kind of abandoned it toward the end when everyone got tired.
The kids got Disney DVDs to add to their collections, toys and puzzles, and Mase got Baylor gear and games. All the adults got the things on our lists, but I think we had the most fun watching the kids. It's really fun to have cousins to play with and share with (even if Cara and Murphee aren't totally great at sharing yet). :)
By the end of the evening, Cara was so sleepy. She got up on the couch with me, laid down and said "Ni Ni" like she was going to sleep. We stayed up way late with her, but got a good morning to sleep in the next day.
I hope Christmas with the Connells and Edisons just keeps getting more fun as the years go by and we add even more kids and family to the mix.
{Look at that arm pose--she was over it.}
{tired girl...}
{Mase & Murphee are cracking up at Cari tossing marshmallows, and Cara is unimpressed.}
{sister in a stranglehold}
{Murphee is going for Cara's lost bow.}
{ MY bow}
