Dedicating Cara

On Sunday, July 7, we dedicated Cara at church. Everyone came to support us and celebrate this time--Mom & Dad, the Edisons and Cayce came, and many of our church friends were there as well.

It was important to us to promise to raise Cara in a Christian home and to teach her the ways of the Lord, as well as to thank Him for entrusting her to us. We shared the life verses we chose for her, and she received a Bible and had our pastor pray over her. It was such a special time for our family.

2 Timothy 3:14-15: "But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of, because you know those from whom you learned it, and how from infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus."
