Murphee's 1st birthday!

My, oh my, how the first year has flown by! This party was so fun because of all the fun colors and details. And it made me excited to think that Cara's was just a few short weeks away.

Cari decorated the backyard in pink and blue and birds and served breakfast to everyone. It was a warm day, but not too hot. I spent half the party inside, trying to coax Cara into her morning nap. Luckily, she finally complied.

Murphee LOVED her first taste of cake, and took the phrase "smash cake" to literal depths. It was demolished. I'll let the pictures do the talking.

Murphee, we are so glad you are in our family! You're such a sweet, delicate little girl, who will also have a tough side because you love when big brother Mase roughhouses with you. You are a sweet friend to Cara, and I can't wait to watch the two of you play dress up and sports, have tea parties and sleepovers and grow up together! We love you, Murphee girl!
